Ponoči je ruska vojska obstreljevala največjo jedrsko elektrarno v Ukrajini in Evropi v mestu Enerhodar. V obstreljevanju je prišlo tudi do požara v sami jedrski elekrtarni, kar je sporočil tudi župan Dmytro Orlov.
⚡️Russian forces are firing at Europe's largest nuclear power plant, the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Station in Enerhodar, a city on the Dnipro River that accounts for about one-quarter of Ukraine’s power generation.
The city’s Mayor Dmytro Orlov said the plant is now on fire.

Okoli 6.20 ure zjutraj je ukrajinska državna služba za nujne primere sporočila, da je bil požar pogašen in, da ni prišlo do smrtnih žrtev v jedrski elektrarni.

Pred tem je mednarodna agencija za atomsko energijo sporočila, da ukrajinski regulator ni zaznal spremembe ravni sevanja na mestu jedrske elektrarne.
⚡️The International Atomic Energy Agency reports that the Ukraine regulator has not detected a change in radiation levels at the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant site, following a fire that broke out at the plant after a Russian shelling on March 4.
